The ColdTech management is very pleased to announce that a cooperation agreement regarding a joint research centre within cold climate technology has been signed between Norut and Narvik University College.
The new ColdTech Centre agreement ensures an integration of the cold climate resources at Norut Narvik and Narvik University College. This will make the ColdTech Centre a major player in the international community that focus on Arctic challenges. The work will now focus on the process of establishing a joint organization and efficiently make use of common equipment, labs and human resources.
ColdTech project manager Peter Wide is very satisfied with announcing the future cooperation, which means that the ColdTech project secures a solid competence network and advanced laboratory facilities. The agreement is the first step towards the establishment of a competence center in the High North, which is an important part of the vision and goal of the ColdTech project.
